Adopting the craftsmanship employed through the process of Solera, the subtle range of dark and light malted grains are double pot distilled, then matured in selected small charred Oloroso sherry casks and a range of specialty cherry and acacia vats. The small batch selection provides a whisky that is complex in aromatics of pecan, ripe banana and heavily toasted coffee rinds. Rich and clean golden amber to the eye, the palate similarly delivers hints of stewed quince, burnt orange and dried raisins, all balanced by a long supple finish of toffee and toasted mocha.
